PJ anti-ISA vigil no.8

After many months, i finally managed to break my 7 days a week working ritual and got someone to sit in for me. So, i got my Sundays for myself now and seized the opportunity to attend the 8th anti-ISA vigil in PJ Sunday night.
Here are some pictorials...

The beautiful crowd:

The usual suspects:

From left: Bernard and Haris

Stephen Francis (of Shanghai Fish) & Bernard Khoo (of Zorro-Unmasked)

Augustine (aka Gus). The man who runs the Wharf

The speakers:

Pn. Norlaila Othman, a GMI member who's husband has been detained under the ISA the past seven years.

I don't think this man needs any introduction...Haris Ibrahim

Ms. Anonymous. She was telling the crowd about her experience of being assaulted by members of Pewaris when she questioned them during the recent Pewaris rally. Woman with balls!

Ms. Angie, one of the vigil participants who took the mic to say a few encouraging words.

Captain Lokman Sardon (whose father is non-other than the late YAB Tun Datuk Haji Sardon bin Haji Jubir, one of the fromer Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang (1975-1981) and ex-works Minister (1971-1975). He was giving the crowd a few more reasons why we need to do away with the ISA. This photo was pinched from Stephen's blog.

PJ city councillor, Mr. Richard Yeoh. The man who has been making it possible for the vigils to be held at MBPJ grounds every Sunday. A special tribute to him.

Well, let's continue doing this till we achieve our goal...the repealing of the ISA.
